Daughter of Cornelius Dooren and Ann Goulder.[1][2]

Ann Goulder was born on 15 July 1682 at Gravesend, Kings Co., Long Island, New York. [3]. She was baptized on 23 July 1682 at New Utrecht, Kings Co., Long Island, New York, witnesses Jan Hansz, & hvr. Marritje.[4][5]

She married Cornelius Dooren, son of Ditelof Claeszen and Elsje Jeuriaens, before 1710. [6]

She was a member of the at Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, in October 1719.[7]

She was a member of the at Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, on 23 August 1731 "at Middletown." Antie Golder, wife of Cornelis Doren.[8]

Witnessed the baptism of Jacobus , son of Allicia Van Doorn, on 4 November 1737 at Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, (witnesses Cornelius Doorn, Antje Goolder).[9]

Witnessed the baptism of Antje Tysse , daughter of Johannes Tiis and Sara Goulder, on 19 February 1738 at Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, (witnesses: Cornelius Doorn, Antje Goolder).[10]

Ann Goulder Van Doorne died on 19 September 1767; "aged about 86 years."[17] She was buried at Golden Burying Ground, Middletown, Middlesex Co., New Jersey. [17]

Birth

Anna Dorn was possibly born circa 1712 at Monmouth Co., New Jersey, (if she was the Ananeke Van Doorn admitted as a member of the Freehold-Middletown Congregation in 1727).

She and John Clark, son of Alexander Clark and Sarah Evertse Van Gelder, married by intention on 13 December 1741 at Reformed Dutch Church, Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey.[18]

She was a member of the Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, in March 1727.[19]

She was named in her father's will dated on 1 November 1755: Will dated 1 November 1755 proved 16 Dec 1755. Cornelius Dooren (Dorne) of Middletown, Monmouth County. Wife (not named). Children: Cornelius, Nicholas, Catharine, Joseph, Deatluf, Elinor and Anne. Grandson, James Wilson. Real and personal estate. Executors: sons Deatluf, Cornelius and Nicholas. Witnesses: John Wall, Jr., Cornelious van der Belt and John Bowne.[20]

She is named in her husband's will on 15 March 1777: Will dated 15 March 1777 proved 16 April 1777. John CLark of Freehold, Monmouth Co., yeoman and blacksmith. Wife, Ann, use of my moveable estate and lands, while my widow. Son, Alexander, £10 and the plantation which he now has, but he is to pay £283 to my estate. Son, Cornelius, £200. Son, John, the plantation where he lives, but he to pay £300 after the death of his mother. Son, Nicholas, £200. Daughter, Leah, who is not married, £200. Executors: John Reed, my son, Alexander, and Cornelius Clark. Witnesses: Zebulon Baird, Abraham Probasco, John Schenck.

Inventory of estate taken on 5 April 1777 £317.15.6, made by Zebulon Baird, David Gordon, David Lloyd and John Schenck.[21]

Will dated 1795 proved 7 Sep 1801. Anna Clark of Freehold, Monmouth Co. Son, John, all my right plantation where he now lives. Grandson, Joseph (son of son John), £40, a cow, 6 pewter plates, 6 silver tea spoons and a warming pan. Granddaughter Anna (daughter of son, John), a Dutch cupboard and 1/3 of wearing apparel. Daughter, Mary, 1/3 of wearing apparel. Daughter, Leah, 1/3 of wearing apparel. Grandson, John (son of son John), £40. Grandsons, Alexander and Henry (sons of son John), each £5. Grandson, Joseph, large looking glass and a gold ring. Son, Nicholas, a large pewter platter. Residue to be divided between the children of son John. Executor: grandson, Joseph. Witnesses: Davis Gordon, Jean Gordon, Joseph Maxson.[22][23] In which she leaves property to sons John and Nicholas, and to daughters Mary and Leah, all of whom remained in New Jersey after the Revolution. Sons Cornelius and Alexander are not mentioned, although there exists a letter dated 22 Sep 1800 from Anna to Alexander.
